The annual conference of the Nuclear Society of Slovenia
has already become a traditional meeting of professionals dealing with
different aspects of nuclear energy from all around Europe.
This year it will be the jubilee 10th conference
in the series which begun in Bovec in 1992.
The primary objective of the meeting is to foster international
cooperation between professionals from research and educational institutions,
utilities and regulatory bodies.

Preferred formats are MS Word or ASCII text file.
The abstract should include:
Full-length papers (not exceeding 8 pages) are due by Sept. 10, 2001. A peer review of full-length papers will be performed before including the papers in the Proceedings.
Language
The language of the conference is English. No translation
will be provided.
Proceedings
A copy of the Book of Abstracts will be distributed at
the conference. The Proceedings containing full-length papers presented
at the conference will be printed after the conference and mailed to the
participants.
Contest
of Young Authors
Award will be given for the best paper prepared by a
first author aged no more than 32 years. The Award Committee will review
the eligible papers to choose the winner. Candidates are kindly requested
to indicate their intent to participate in this contest on abstract
submission form.
Hotel
Accommodations
The organisers have booked a sufficient number of rooms
in Bernardin (http://www.h-bernardin.si).

Conference Program.
Social
Activities
A welcome reception and conference dinner will provide
opportunities for informal discussions.
Portorož is touristically
the most developed Slovenian seaside resort on the Adriatic coast. Besides
its favourable climate it also offers many possibilities for active recreation

Nuclear Society of Slovenia is granting a limited number of free admissions
based on application. Undergraduate students may register without any charges.
